Liz joined Constellation Europe (CE) as the finance lead for phase one of the Global Inventory Project, stock keeping unit (SKU) Rationalisation [see Case Studies]. Liz quickly developed the role into a full co-ordination role. The project covered a 6 month period.
As project lead who had been involved with previous SKU Rationalisation projects, I understood that this role was key to the success of the project. Liz quickly proved to be highly capable and diligent taking the pressure off me as I knew that a professional and thorough job was being carried out without direction required. Working on a different site to Liz with only bi-weekly face to face reviews, Liz quickly established my faith in the quality of work being carried out, as proven by the exceptional project work audit trail established and maintained.
Her ability to communicate at all levels was proved by co-ordinating the project in an unfamiliar workplace and sector, establishing key contacts in all areas including Corporate Contacts from the USA and Australia, who came to the UK for a workshop, which Liz participated in fully.
Throughout the project, Liz has been focused on the aim of ensuring that the processes established are imbedded in the business to enable them to be an ongoing part rather than a reoccurring project. Liz left us with high quality handover documents in the form of folders, process flows with links to relevant monthly reporting forms and spreadsheets enabling the work to be carried on easily within CE.
With a strong CV, Liz has been a good sounding board and has constructively challenged some directions and decisions within the project which has had a positive impact.
Overall, Liz has been key to the success of the project both with the work carried out but also by being an approachable likable part of the team. It was a pleasure to work with her.
